I like to make gift boxes for my ornaments when I give them as gifts so I thought you might want to do that as well. Make sure to scroll down for the video tutorial.
For a 5 inch box you will need:
- Box- 2 pieces of 10 1/2″x5 1/2″ chipboard scored 1/2″ along the long side, 1/2″ along one short side and at 5″ from the side without the tab.
- Lid- 2 pieces of 10 3/4″x1 1/2″ chipboard scored 1/2″ along the long side, 1/2″ along one short side, and at 5 1/8″ from the side without the tab.
- 1 piece of 5″x5″ chipboard for the bottom, 1 piece 5 1/8″x5 1/8″ chipboard for the top. Assemble according to video.
For a 4 inch box you will need:
- Box- 2 pieces of 8 1/2″x4 1/2″ chipboard scored 1/2″ along the long side, 1/2″ along one short side, and at 4″ from the side without a tab.
- Lid- 2 pieces of 8 3/4″x1 1/2″ chipboard scored 1/2″ along the long side, 1/2″ along one short side, and at 4 1/8″ inches from the side without a tab.
- 1 piece of 4″x4″ chipboard for the bottom, 1 piece of 4 1/8″x4 1/8″ chipboard for the top. Assemble according to video.
For a 3 inch box you will need:
- Box- 2 pieces of 6 1/2″x3 1/2″ chipboard scored 1/2″ along the long side, 1/2″ along one short side, and at 3″ from the side without a tab.
- Lid- 2 pieces of 6 3/4″x1 1/2″ chipboard scored 1/2″ along the long side, 1/2″ along one short side, and at 3 1/8″ inches from the side without a tab.
- 1 piece of 3″x3″ chipboard for the bottom, 1 piece of 3 1/8″x3 1/8″ chipboard for the top. Assemble according to video.
