Shabby Chic Diorama Christmas Ornament Day 7-2021

Welcome to day 7! Today’s ornament is so cute. I got the idea when shopping at Walmart, I saw the cutest pink ornament had an opening and a cute little ballerina and feathers. It was so beautiful. I knew I had to make one in my own style. I thought I bet I could cut an opening on the acrylic ornaments with a craft knife, so that’s what I did. I was very careful and kept my hand pretty steady. If you try it please be careful. I used rick rack trim for the opening to hide any uneven cutting, I knew I wanted to put birds in mine and I wanted them to look shabby chic so I got pastel paints and started painting. I wanted them to look frosty so I covered them with Diamond Dust using tacky glue to adhere it. I found some old picks and decorated the inside. They came together pretty quickly.
