It is time to share Day 2! This ornament was so much fun. I had never decoupaged before so it was a learning experience too. I used a large pink satin ball ornament. I searched free decoupage roses and downloaded the free images that I liked. I used my atg tape gun and taped the edges around an 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of cardstock and added a piece of tissue paper to the cardstock. I trimmed all the edges and printed the roses on the cardstock/tissue paper. I cut out all the images I wanted to use from the tissue paper and tore the pieces where I thought they might wrinkle. I used matte mod podge to adhere the images to the ball. I used some white paint to pounce around the edges I wanted to cover. I also used some Liquid Pearls in Platinum to add extra details and swirls around the roses, leaves, and blank spaces. I have added my video tutorial below.
