Day 2 of 10 Days of Christmas Ornaments with Cynthialoowho!

For day 2 I made a Christmas tree using flower shaped filigrees from ButterBee Scraps! This was so fun, easy, and inexpensive. I used a cone shaped bead cap for the trunk and added it to a 6″ 20  gauge piece of wire. I used 4 large silver flower filigrees and twisted each petal using my round nosed pliers. For the fifth layer I used a smaller flower shaped filigree and twisted the petals as far as I could. I added a 10 mm round plastic bead between each layer to separate each layer. Finally for the top I used a round filigree bead and created a loop with the top of the wire for the ornament hook.

I made two of them and used bronze filigrees for the other one. I purchased the bronze filigrees from Dee @ DK Crafts on facebook.
